Whoever Biden picked was going to be solid liberal vote on the Court but I was watching this just for further confirmation that Biden's "moderate" act was always a fucking fraud. Since becoming President Biden has given the left pretty much everything they wanted other than maybe student loan forgivness which legally he has no power to do. Jim Clyburn was pushing Biden to nominate Michelle Childs who is a Federal Judge in SC. She would have gotten bi-partisan support. But of course he goes with the lefty pick of Ketanji Brown Jackson.

There's nothing moderate about Biden.

There's no doubt that Jackson will be seated but Childs would have easily gotten 60 plus votes. Manchin was pushing her so were Graham and Scott but of course Biden goes with who the hard left wanted.

She won't be savaged at all. If she were a black conservative woman she would be, but Republicans aren't going to treat her the way the Rats would treat a black conservative nominee.

She won't be savaged using any meaningful definition of the term. But to a leftard, asking Jackson if the 14th amendment means that affirmative action is illegal would be a savage lynching.

Republicans have never treated Rat party nominees as poorly as the Rats routinely treat Republican picks. There's no Rat nominee that was every treated anything like Clarence Thomas, Bob Bork or Kavanaugh.

The temptation to play the race card will be too great for the Rats not to use it. My prediction is that no Rat Senator will play it unless something comes out on this nominee that draws strong criticism from Republicans. The media will play the race card for the Rat Senators and racist Rat Congress members will assist if needed but Senate members won't use it. That's the beauty part of being a Rat Pol. You don't need to get your hands dirty, the MSM is more than happy to do it for you.

Black female Judge Janice Rogers Brown would have been the first black woman appointed to that US Circuit Court of Appeals was filibustered by the dementia patient and wasn't confirmed by the dem Senate.

Black Supreme Court Judge Clarence Thomas was also not approved by Joey Soft Serve. Brown and Thomas ain't black according to the racists.

Rats also blocked what most likely would have been the first Hispanic SC justice as well. Estrada was the wrong kind of Hispanic.
