No one will tell you that ethanol fuel is what's fucking with grouse. Farmers were paid to let a portion of their acreage go back to natural. It's called the conservation reserve program or CRP for short. They made more money farming corn for ethanol than having CRP. Kicked the shit out of the pheasant hunting too.

Just the birds that crossed the Canadian and Mexican border? Or all birds? I think we can agree that if they crossed a state border, they would need to be vetted as not being white supremacist birds before free healthcare.
