Most transgenders probably don’t want this type of “visibility.” The small yet vocal minority of that community probably think it’s funny.

More like 15 years ago. Time flies.
 
In the last few years, it seems like the most public contributions to modern society are crimes by members of transgender community. From mass shootings to stealing luggage, that’s when they have been visible most to me.

Also, how many days do these mentally ill people need set aside to be noticed? The entire month of November and today seems a bit much for a celebrating people with severe mental health problems and the choices they make when encouraged to act on it.
