I know OK Computer is the correct answer but I could never stomach Thom Yorke. Basically all my favorite Foo Fighters songs are on The Colour and the Shape.

I had it in an earlier iteration of this and couldn't find that list and forgot to chinclude it. You're right, it belongs.
 
Preemptive PM to @GrundleStiltzkin, Fat of the Land and Dig Your Owen Hole are both superior to numerous albums on this list but I couldn't quite stretch the rock genre far enough to chinclude them. If the pole were simply top 10 albums of 1997 they'd be here.

I'll go Radiohead for Karma Police (thought High & Dry was on that album, but alas no). Don't feel great about it though. Thøm Yörk is truly chinsufferable.
