Best Rock Album - 1977?

1977 is one of the most fucked up log jammed years in this shit pole series. All of the LPs are all timers for me. But is what it is. Rumors is the most perfect pop rock record of the 70's most likely.
Is there a more prefect yacht rock song than Dreams? Doubtful
Except Peg might be the best Yacht Rock song. 1:45 is the greatest solo in the history of rock.

I play the shit out of it on Lake Union on Tuesday nights. Our skipper hates yacht rock but I usually tell him to fuck off.
I have a fancy West German pressing of Rumors that is Ta Tits.

rough choice, hard to choose "Dreams" over "Scenes from an Italian restaurant" but several albums listed are extremely worthy.
Was one of the two Talking Heads listed supposed to be, say, Slowhand? (would have had a hard time not giving that my vote)

Slowhand? Lol!! There are like 10 more worthy albums in 1977 but Rumors is the clear big dick swinging album of the year. We are just arguing about podium spots after that.

I didn’t have to put this one in @dflea but was pandering to the south sound logging camp liberal vote.
I appreciate the enthusiasm here, really. Best solo ever is crazy talk. My dad had this record and I'm pretty sure it was one of the albums that I turned in to a scratch record during my DJ BleachedAnusDawg days as a youth.
