It’s hard to go against AC DC or Van Halen. But The Beach Boys were one of the few bands to be able to match the brilliance of the Beatles, albeit for a relatively short period of time.

My eyes were opened to their whole pre-disco music. The music biz has changed so much since then.
4 plus decades of simple bluesy rock, the 4th best selling album of all tim, and the 9th most record sales of any artist/band in any genre isn't as impressive as the fucking Beach Boys?

I like every AC/DC song, because well, they all sound alike.
Shout out to The Darkness.
The Beach Boys went from singles like Surfing Safari to Good Vibrations in 4 years. There’s nothing comparable in terms of that level of growth in the AC DC catalog.
