Besides Shaq

One guy who hasn't been mentioned is Marcus Peters. Against USC, he looked like a future All Pac 12 guy. Against WSU, he looked like Quinton Richardson. I hope he can become a consistent player this year, because he has all the tools to be a very good player.

With our coaching history of player development I expect Peters best days will be that USC game. He'll be another senior we look back and say "What the hell happened? He got worse ever year". Then rip the player instead of connecting the dots this happens every fucking year for a decade now.

Coaching in general, definitely agree. But Heyward appears to have a clue. I'm cautiously optimistic about our DB development as long as he's here.

 
The kid never played one down before the SDSU game last year.....if he was special he would have been playing as a true freshman.

Peters was average at best. Especially since we heard how special he was coming into the season last year.

I've always felt that it's a sign of a program's health when true Freshmen don't play. Even if they are "special".
