1. My wife’s best friend celebrated her 40th in Vegas last weekend. Not my ideal spot for several reasons but I can still party wherever. My wife and I decided to drive and visit some spots in Arizona for our anniversary the other day. Glad we did, I’m coming back every year.

2. Didn’t have a car till we left so no.

My dad describes moving from Washington to Montana as a "punt." I'd say moving to Oregon is throwing the ball away. Moving to Idaho is punting on third down and moving to Alaska is intentionally taking a safety.

There are livable areas in all of those states except Alaska.

Living on the border means I have nothing but disdain for Oregon or the average Oregonian (they cant drive). I can still see myself retiring to the southern coast though.
