I'm not familiar with everything that went down, but firing Briles seems like a loser move. The idea that the coach is in charge of his players behavior has always been puzzling to me, although I know the cover ups played a large role as well.

Probably should have looked at what was going on before saying that ...

Saying "firing Briles would have made Tequilla happy and I'm 100% against anything that makes him happy" would have been perfectly acceptable
 
I'd love to see Baylor go after Mike Leach at the end of the season to crush Cuog hopes.

Cougs would just upgrade by hiring Briles...

I think Leach is the perfect Coug-it coach. Won't/can't run the ball in the 4th quarter to protect his lead and to conservatively burn out the clock. Petersen will beat Leach 80%+ of the time. Leach needs to win his 6 games/year and stay at WSU for a long time.

It's funny what a couououoooog you've become since Leach won his Sark National Chamipionship, put on his Crimson custom Nikes, and popped off.
