They've been a favorite of mine ever since I picked up a free CD sample of "Ain't Goin' to Goa" at a record store in Eugene in 1996. They do a ton of great tracks and tour (the UK) constantly. They call what they do "sweet, pretty country acid house music."

Another one of my favorites is "Terra Firma Cowboy Blues"

Likewise, "Have You Seen Bruce Richard Reynolds" which is all about the Great Train Robbery from the early 1960's and how Reynolds busted his buddies out of jail (really happened). Complete with cameo with Bruce Richard Reynolds himself, who recites a list of great train robberies and gangs at the end of the song.

Maybe people do like this. But no one that's ever lived with me has appreciated being woken up to it blaring at 6am Saturday morning during football season.

I'd been so much looking forward to Dos Dedos, and very much let down by it. Thought it was pretty shitty.

Bentley Rhythm Ace spun off from PWEI not long after.

Somewhere I have a 12" single of Ain't Going to Goa, but don't think I've ever played it.

Prolific band but I don't much care for most. This track is great with an all-time video. Moral of the story, Dawgs are Beautiful!!!!

It's actually quite a departure from their usual sound. Much more ambient, downbeat usually. Still, they also made the weirdest fucking video ever made. Features a toad with testicles and people popping out of an elephant's butt sphincter (and a cleverly disguised fart joke that ends in tragedy).
