How the fuck does anybody compete with this?

And fuck you, Pete and Jimmy, for never evolving and being so myopic to think that hiring outside your circle is a bad thing.

Ahead of the 2021 season, Alabama's directory lists 27 football staffers beyond the on-field coaching staff. There are 12 analysts, two special assistants to the head coach, a football CEO, a director of football operations (plus an associate), an associate director of recruiting operations, a director of personnel operations, a director of player personnel (plus two assistants), two directors of player development (plus an assistant), a director of football recruitment (plus an assistant) and two coordinators of football operations.

Fuck off, we have the assistant to the co offensive coordinators assistant running backs coach and some other dude that holds bags....We're good

Bama was where Tosh Lupoi landed after his boys (Sark & Wilcox) left him (to fend for himself in Doogville) while they moved on to bigger & better things at USC (or so they thought).

Lupoi started out at as an on-campus recruiter and moved his way up to defensive coordinator for one year. When they lost in Natty, Lupoi graciously stepped aside and moved on.

I’m surprised Sark hasn’t hired Lupoi at Texas . . .

Helluva recruiter . . . Sleazy as hell.

Thanks for the hot tips @trublue! You're a wealth of football knowledge!

Alabama has over120 employees that work for the football program only. That is why you see so many with assistant titles. You can only have so many that coach, but the others do all of menial leg work. No ncaa rule about that, just need the $$ to hire them, and bama has the cash.
