Bama -11

Just looked and the only two teams that were closer were LSU (+7) and Ole Miss (+10). Next closest was -13.5 favorite over USC

In all seriousness, does UW have a shot? I don't see Browning faring well when they blitz the shit out of him. Our defense can obviously hang but not sure how our offense fares if Browning can't beat them deep to Ross.

Browning played hurt yesterday. Could barely grip or throw the football. Hand/wrist thing. He'll be fine in four weeks.

It's already at -14 I believe

2 different odds makers: one is -11, the other -14

I don't believe CG Technology actually sets lines or takes bets. Seems like they just want to get their name out there?

CG Technology runs a handful of decent sportsbooks in Vegas, such as Silverton Casino and Cosmopolitan. I've made a lot of bets through their sportsbooks over the years.

If anybody is going to bet on the Huskies, you might want to do the 1st half wager and not the whole game. Bama is good in the 4th Q.

Where did you hear that? I hope that was the case because he didn't look great (though neither did the interior OL in pass-blocking).

10-14 is about right. They're better deeper etc. I don't follow SEC closely like some, but they do have a true freshman qb and he's basically a game manager. We need to somehow get to him and force him into mistakes to have a real chance. I don't know the injury info off the top of my head but hopefully everyone is back. I think Victor's probably out though with a broken leg. I had one of those once.

If you want to be the best, you have to start beating the best.

yep, who knows. all dynasties must end at some point

FPI actually gives us a better shot than I would have. perhaps we're slightly undervaluing our own team.

He's a little bit more than a game manager. I know the announcers yesterday for the SEC title game said Florida's #1 priority during practice was stopping Hurts on designed run. He said that as he commented on the fact that Hurts only had 3 designed run plays at some point deep in the 2nd half.

I worry that UW will attempt to do to Hurts the same thing it did against USC and Darnold and not pressure him but keep him in the pocket.
