Honestly I can't imagine there's anyway we loose him as long as we offer in a reasonable time frame and make a reasonable effort to get him. Given his condition I'd imagine his parents aren't trying to ship him off somewhere. Moms of autistic kids are protective as fuck. His mom is obviously better than the average since she's letting him play football, but I still don't see her signing off on him moving far away.

Time will tell if he's a Mountain West/Big Sky guy or a legit Pac-12 guy. I was at May Madness... no one looked like an epic lineman there like Foster Sarell did at these types of things. Guys got beat to their post foot repeatedly, which is a huge no-no, and walked away as 4* guys.

His reps weren't any better or worse than anyone else there. 1v1 reps are a little weird without pads on, IMO.

Game film speaks volumes compared to 7v7, 1v1, combines, or any other offseason stuff these guys go to. He can't control who he plays, just how he addresses them. Which in this case was flat out nasty.

That's fine, I do that too. But you don't need to consider competition when seeing how someone moves or how they play the game. Taylor Rapp is the perfect example, he played no one in HS but he moved so well and played as hard as anyone I had seen.

Edit: And I understand his competition was really poor, but no matter who we are recruiting in HS the competition when they get to CFB is going to be MASSIVELY different. Everyone understands that, it's just the question of, "Do they have the talent/tools needed to play or get developed at the college level."

He's not more talented than Trey Adams, Kaleb McGary, Henry Bainivalu, or Colin Porter to name a few. He's not even more talented than Joey Ramos from the 2018 class. Probably won't get offered by UW. We're trying to recruit the best of the best and rare bodies. He's not one of them.
