Bailey "Music From the" Elder, 4* 2019 OL, Tacoma (Stadium), WA

I am now putting out a patent pending for "3 play player" for recruiting purposes. Those really good players will show up in three plays on their highligt film and you know they have great talent. Bailey Elder is a perfect example. Potential to be an elite OL. Likely to get an offer this weekend. I love his hudl so much.

Plus, there is something we could do with the name Bailey Elder on this board, so many options.

He's also "not a dry eye in the room" prospect.

Autistic people are really fucking good at the things they focus on so we need to get this kid.

He admits in the article he wants to go to UW and play football and become an astrophysicist. It's like a dream.

My favorite quote from the article:

"Because Elder takes instruction so literally, it’s made Ford and his coaching staff have to be careful what they ask of him.

Ford said he once told Elder in the spring to line up as a nose guard on defense and “ruin the center’s day.”

“He drove the center seven yards in the backfield and runs off the sideline and he’s like, ‘Coach, do you think I ruined the center’s day?’ ” Ford said. “I was like, ‘Yes, I’m pretty sure you did.’ ”

I think that was a scene in the Blindside

Keeping in mind that this is his sophomore film and he hasn't fully physically matured yet (I tried long and hard to find a creepier way to phrase that, alas, I couldn't), he looks good. Already plus feet for a guard but could develop into a legit tackle prospect.

In the mean time Jaxson Kirkland will be the litmus test for whether or not retard strength translates into football strength.
