B1G vs SEC

Pac 12 After Dark was pretty cray cray. Maybe someday rational thought will return to the market.

Throbber misses it. Gives zero shits about Northwestern, Purdue, Minnesota and Rutgers. Iowa? Da fuq out of here. Shitty OOC games.

Fuck you, Larry Scott. Fuck you, George Kliavkoff. But mostly fuck you, Pac12 Presidents for allowing these two fucks to enrich themselves and ruin a 100+ years of magic.
You left out USC in the whom to blame pile. Fuck those guys. If they’d stayed, and if Kliavkoff would have seen the TV well drying up and started negotiating immediately with ESPN and Fox, don’t let Yormark cuck you the way he did, the conference would have survived. 40 million per school was there to be had with LA still in the fold. Tier the fucking revenue and forcibly make the presidents see why. USC, Washington and Oregon in tier 1. Utah, ASU and UCLA in tier 2, Cal, Stanford and Arizona in tier 3 and Colorado, WSU and Oregon State in tier 4. Your 3 biggest football brands now have 50 million to go compete for titles with the B1G and SEC. Your tier 2 programs are making 40 million, more than any got on the open market. Tier 3 is making 30, that’s what Arizona gets now and is triple what the Bay schools got from the ACC. The bottom brands still make money on par with the ACC’s awful deal with ESPN. It didn’t have to die. There was no creativity nor flexibility to these institutions and they killed something great. I came up with that bagging groceries. It’s not hard. FMFYFE

Stanford, Cal, and Colorado wouldn't accept a tier system. Colorado would just leave which I'd be fine with only if Utah has to go with them.
Yup, and now the egg heads make 8 million per year from the ACC. Fuck those guys. Also, if the P12 comes to the table before the B12 there’s only financial scraps left for them. As far as Colorado, the tier 4 deal from the PAC would be similar to what Yormark could have offered them from his shit deal with ESPN, Fox, Amazon, Apple. If they leave, fuck em, the P12 fills in with an eager SDSU who takes a tier 5 deal further enriching every school in the conference. It’s still not hard as long as you’re not so “smart” that you become retarded.

It felt like Arizona and Colorado were waiting to see who got the ESPN deal, and were never part of the Utah delusion.

Some kind of a drastic shift needed to happen roughly around 2018-20 where two schools are kicked out and the Pac 12 Network is killed off into something that doesn't cost them anything.

Most of the AD's still cut a ton of staff, they get out of SF as much as possible (I know they had the lease), and they're fully ready to kiss the ring with the Tier 1 schools and the network.

Feels like too many things needed to completely reverse that didn't/couldn't.
