B1G vs SEC

A lot of dominoes haven't dropped well for the SEC Dawg in recent years. Saban retiring. Georgia quickly cooled off as a first round factory. LSU down. Florida down for a long time. Texas and Oklahoma haven't injected as much as you would expect. Big 10 got a punch by adding Oregon.
 
What are those numbers if the school where the 1st rounder spent the majority of their eligibility is counted instead?
Mendoza counting fully for Indiana and zero for Cal doesn't feel right. Not sure how many others would fall in the same boat.
(I'll give Indiana a chunk of credit for Mendoza no doubt but not full)

It is quite a commentary on where the best players are playing though.

I think these numbers are where the NFL players went to HS/grew up. Mendoza would count for Florida as he grew up and went to school outside of Miami.
 
SEC 87 total picks from 16 teams
B10 68 from 18 teams

Like the map says, there’s just more high end talent down there.
