"As a penalty imposed on the institution, the University football team must compete without its Head Football Coach for the games remaining in the 2023 regular-season, effective immediately. This disciplinary action shall not preclude the University or its football team from having its Head Football Coach attend practices or other football team activities other than the game activities to which it applies. For clarity, the Head Football Coach shall not be present at the game venue on the dates of the games to which this disciplinary action applies."

The issue is that Michigan is acting like Harbaugh hasn't already been suspended this year and this most recent cheating covers at least two seasons. Imagine if USC had someone in disguise on Boise State's sideline when UW played them earlier this year?

Michigan fans on twitter are warning the new schools to not join a conference that will bend you over when you get too good. UW doesn't know what that is like though.

I’m a big Portnoy fan. Some people seem to think he’s a rapist or something. But your right, libs like APAG and Sven don’t even poast here anymore, so the qualifier wasn’t needed allegedly

The punishment for breaking rules in the Big Ten is a coach being suspended for 3 games; the punishment for just existing in the Pac-12 is losing $50m in media revenue every year and a complete TV ban (only being available on AppleTV)

I don't think the nation understands how bad the Pac-12 really was

Fuck Michigan. I started hating khaki pants when he kept coming into WA territory recruiting. Then the climbing trees with recruits siblings, jumping into pools when a recruit commits, etc. He has been caught cheating twice now. Off with his head.
 
This could be a fairly savvy move by Petitti. Suspend Harbaugh to please the other schools. A court suspends enforcement of the ban until the conference season is already over, so Michigan doesn’t actually get punished. Petitti gets to say “aw man, gosh darn those meddling courts! I tried, you guys.” Nobody is happy, but Petitti doesn’t actually have to be the bad guy very long.
