We tried it your way in North Korea. Israel is a much better ally with a morally superior culture to Iran and the mullahs. And I don't get a lot of Death to America coming from Israel.

Does it count as a forever war when we haven’t really even fired a shot in the last couple weeks.
Is it really different than any other day when carriers are floating overseas near Hormuz or near the Persian Gulf or near Korea.
We pay troops whether they are in Bangor or on the ship. Someone needs to explain to me why this “war” currently should bother me. I’m not really worried about troops who signed up to be troops that are enforcing a blockade, rather than hanging out at the naval base.
