At what point are parents responsible?

6 kids, 12-14 yr olds are out at 3 am on a Friday night in Philly and they kill a 73 year old gentleman by beating him to death. Just an average night out for children. Doesn't everyone let their 14 year olds run free in a violent city at 3 am? Doesn't every parent raise their kids to feel absolutely nothing while killing an elderly gentleman?

I get it, its a cultural thing and this old whitey isn't supposed to understand.

What I do understand is that in a civilized society, parents should be responsible for what their minor kids are doing. I truly believe that the parents should be in jail. The odds are that there is no father in the home for these kids, so not just the mother but the absent father as well. They have done such a horrible job as parents it is time to make the violence they have unleashed on the streets come back to haunt them.

This story is horrendous yet you never see it being dealt with any place other than Fox News. The 73 year old is dead but because he was not killed by whitey, the msm has no interest.

When you have a black mayor, a black police chief, a black public school superintendent and the message is CRT, the 1619 project and that whitey is to blame for the poor performance of blacks this is what you get. When the basics of how to be a successful person, regardless of race) is self-discipline, hard work, acceptance of responsibility and getting an education (either academic or a trade) are all disparaged as acting white and not acting white is how to be authentically white, what do you expect. Barry has mansions in DC and Chicago as well and you'll be shocked to know that neither of the areas he lives in, in either city, has a majority black population. Which in DC is a little tough to do since the City is nearly 50% black.

The problem lies in that there is little to steal in their neighborhoods and they travel out to commit crimes. Crips were big into residential burglaries. they'd have a half dozen burg crews out on a given day. Bloods too.
