Thybulle still has his flaws on the offensive end, but damn he might be the best defender I've ever seen at UW. Dude makes me NTD, BB every other possession. Hop's zone and Thybulle's game are a match made in heaven.

Fucking fun to watch.

I like @Gladstone Quincy career path suggestion. I don't think he'll ever be Senior Quincy on the offensive end, but Quincy was never Matisse defensively.

If we beat Zona I may have to revise my "this team isn't going to the tourney" prediction. They are getting damn close.

This was a HUGE win for the tournament hopes ... another quality win on the resume.

The path to the tourney is getting clearer at this point ... a lot of it will depend on UW continuing to win the games that they are supposed to. But it's definitely doable at this point. Very doable.
 
Hop even uses the same phrases as pete "It's hard" " Ya know in this conference". He's the basketball version of Petersen. Shoutout to Cohen our best AD in awhile.

24-8 is super doable. Just have to go 3-2 against Zona, Oregon (play them twice), Utah, and Furd. While, beating OSU (twice), Cal, and Colorado. I think 22-10 is most likely outcome though.

22-10 and win one game in the conference tourney and we? are in. I don't know shit about basketball but I was high last night and this is what I thought.

If Matisse continues to hit threes it takes some pressure off, but there are a lot of inconsistencies offensively throughout the squad that can make us lose to anyone.

Jekyll/Hyde Crisp
Confident/shellshocked Green
Foul trouble Dickerson
Team forgetting Dickerson
Thybulle offensive weapon/misses layups

There is only one guy who can create consistently and that is Nowell.

I love this team and think they will make the tournament, but I wouldn't be surprised if they drop 2 in Oregon either.

I agree with all of this and it's definitely in the back of my mind when I'm dooging out over a win. My only hope is that Hop >>>> Romar so that some of those inconsistencies start to happen less. The zone has looked like fucking nails for the most part the last few games, hopefully they can keep it up

We lost at home to Stanford, who is (much) worse than Utah in RPI and KenPom and worse than Colorado in RPI and slightly better in KenPom.

We are more than capable of losing one of hose. Capable of winning them as well.
