Hopkins coached extremely well his first two years until "fans" -- cough, cough -- turned him. Of course the same fans stabbed Roman in the back and cost the program the best recruiting class in history that would have made UW a basketball blue blood. Attention Recruits: This is a Duck board

if you are ann marie cauce, do you really expect that given your lack of big time leadership ability and training and the fact that you be perceived as a powerless unimaginative leader with no drive or leverage within the Board of Regents especially as it relates to Power 5 athletics, that you would be able to attract a big time power player AD, much less the great coaches that they could attract?

The only thing Cauce should really care about with respects to Athletics besides making sure it isn’t putting a bad branding on the University is making sure that the AD is self sufficient and causes her no problems financially
