Not anymore you don't. Manufacturer wised up and added a TON of sugar and other unpleasantries into both the syrup and gell caps.

However, you can always Walter White it and purge away the contaminants from the DXM.
 
Tussin AC was da good shit.

When I was a lad I got three bottles, boiled off the liquid and drank the residue which had the "active ingredients".....serious buzz. My knowledge of chemistry has worked for, and against me.
