did he make a tackle?

3 solo, 2 assist.

First tackle was on opening kickoff. 2nd was on 3rd and 5 in 2Q when they converted with a 6 yard gain. 3rd was next play after when Perryman got bet on the field side and that WR got a 29 yard gain (would've been a TD if Turner didn't shove him OOB).

Still soft but has some confidence unlike last year

He had a bad missed tackle on I believe their last td drive. He has bulked up and should be a top of conference free safety this year.

That quarterback was pretty good and would start *somewhere* in this shit conference so the 2 picks were impressive.

Schleestak was good at eluding rushers and fast once he started running north-south. Overall, a very average QB our D made look a bit better than he is.

I hope he gets the psalm wooshing lifetime achievement award aka national player of the week

As always I'm rooting for him to do well. I have sometimes winced when he's gotten savaged on here. But along with 2 int, he took some bad angles and was at fault for that 50-yard KO return. He's going to cost us a game somewhere down the line, I fear.

did he make a tackle?

Hs came in and slapped at a couple of guys who were already being tackled.

He's a complete Peter puffer. Him getting those two picks were one of the worst things that could have happened.

Well on his way to PAC 12 first team by lucking his way into interceptions

He has always had good instincts for anticipating throws and the football in general, however, he takes bad angles to avoid contact. Overall, he upped his game last night, good to see

Progress. I remember one early and one late right in front of us where he tried to make the tackle and got ran through. Last year he would have fell and tried to trip up the guy or dodged the contact so it's a step in the right direction.
