It’s been confirmed by his HS coach that ND staff was at his game & he then traveled to see ND in San Diego.

While I'm not as confident as strongarm.... I look forward to seeing how strong Lake and asa's relationship is as ND tries to flip him. Will show how good of a recruiter Lake is if we can keep him committed through your guys' run this season. Can't wait to see more of these UW-ND recruiting battles

99.9% sure it's Lake that is recruiting him. In the article that was run on 247 when he committed to us he mentioned his relationship with Lake and the opportunity to play safety as reasons why he chose UW. Let's hope Lake can hold onto him

"I have a great relationship with the coaches at Washington," Turner said. "They have been recruiting me for a few years now and were one of the first schools to offer me. It's not just that, they do a great job developing defensive backs and getting them to the NFL and that's definitely my goal.

"Jimmy Lake is one of the best DB coaches in the country and really develops players well. I get along with Will Harris (DB coach) really well too and he just came out to see me a few weeks ago. I just have a great comfort level there and feel really good about Washington."

Saying that, schools are still making a push for Turner, namely Notre Dame and USC.

"Both schools are still talking to me," Turner said. "Notre Dame came by last week and they never stopped talking to me after I committed. It's the same thing with USC, they never backed off and are still trying with me. They want to come see me in a few weeks and have been inviting me up for games but I feel good about my commitment to Washington right now and it would take a lot to get me to go anywhere else."

Turner said he plans to sign in December during the Early Signing Period.
