Joe Moore departing is a strange development, and I'm wondering if it was because he/DeBoer assumed other DEs would declare/portal. He probably assumed he would be given a starting job, but with Trice returning and ZTF staying, he may not have wanted to risk it. When they say it's mutual it means the player got dropped.

I don’t see a scenario where he doesn’t come here. Would be be biggest get of the off-season.

I would be pumped to get him but the Oklahoma State CB was a big get. And I do think the Souix Falls DE is gonna be a beast for us and he has 3 years, but obviously that’s less of a sure thing simply because he was playing at a much lower level.

I’m not sad about that one. I wasn’t excited about him, and we need to be filling transfer spots with impact players, and he’s nothing more than depth for us next season.

Makes sense with the prior connection and the obvious position of need. His brother is Bennett Williams at Oregon so I wouldn't be surprised if they went after him too.

Damn, that's right. Bennett sucks and seems like a weirdo.

I can see why he'd want to go to Oregon after their coaching staff made his brother look like a total fucking loser.

Assumed Moore would be a mildly productive rotational guy. For depth we really need Smalls (lol) SD transfer and or Heims/Holtzclaw to produce in 2023. Other than Trice I see a lot of question marks.
