The foundation of the 2018, 2019 and 2020 classes was formed by a CFP run in 2016 and a Fiesta bowl in 2017. That momentum was stymied by a 15-14 record from 2019-2021. Then UW hires an unknown insurance agent from Centralia, wins 11 games year 1, makes a CFP push in year two and is switching to a Power 2 conference in 2024. If 2025 isn’t a top 15-20 class then DeBoer may never see that at UW. I’m thinking 2024 will have a strong finishing kick getting UW nearer the top 25 and 2025 will be more like Pete’s last three classes. Just a hunch.
