Lyons is a really dynamic athlete. He's way better than the Kennedy WR's on the roster.

It feels like with the portal the importance of taking a qb every cycle has diminished. Possibly that’s just going to become recruiting over all. USC is sitting at 14 in the team rankings but probably have zero concern over it because they’ll just dip into the portal again and sign players that are already developed and ready to play.

yah, the game has changed.
- make sure you are a player with nil money/benefactors
- make sure you have good coaching and on-field performance/development
- the portal is your new pool of talent, better indicator of separating the wheat from the chaff. Take flyers on high school talent - but the old school method of securing 4*/5* HS qb's and hoping for the best is long gone. You may be able to take flyers on these qb's after they've not cracked the 1 deeps at other schools but have potential in yours.
