I actually kinda like the top 100 in Cali metric. Not necessarily diamonds in the rough at that level but maybe good players that really fit your system. That’s my hope anyway!

I’m down with anyone that Utah really wants. Outside of the top ~300 guys that everyone wants, it’s mostly a crapshoot anyways and evaluation is super important, which Utah is great at.

Bonus points if they’re from high schools a bit off the beaten path and aren’t 7v7 underwear Olympics FS Chris Fatters all-stars.

One thing that sticks out to me about these recruits we've pulled in this week is that almost every single one of them has a Utah offer and had Utah as a finalist. Wittingham has clearly been able to identify kids who can push the shit in of Oregon and SC.
 
We are doing about as good as you can do if you are a school who spends $0 NIL budget on HS recruits. I'm not sure that's the case, but it seems like we are getting every kid that doesn't have an offer from a big NIL school.

Now, we should maybe try harder to get more NIL money. But if really are limited, the staff isn't doing too bad.
