Saw him play in person this year. Decent size and good ball skills. His qb sucked but he caught some screens and made one really nice diving one handed catch like 30 yards down field. No idea if he can get separation and Not going to pretend to know like some do.

Trey Wilson 4 Star Baylor commit is potentially flipping to UW. I know USC wants him but looking good for UW.

I like his hudl. Strong hands and upper body, good speed. He looks better on plays where they tried to block him than on one's where they didn't.

Im done with rankings. Unless you are recruiting at Bama, Georgia, or OSUs level they don’t fucking matter. Most of the guys we were excited most about haven’t sniffed the field except for the WR duo of McMillan and Odunze.

I was excited about Rosengarten who had offers from tOSU, Michigan, ND, Miami, USC, etc.

I think we've been tainted against recruiting rankings. UW finally started getting highly rated right before he coaching staff quit and then downgraded coordinators significantly. I think the UW experience with mostly highly rated guys failing is a bit of an anomaly.

I know people hate the TSIO crew here but the one principle they left us with that I think was really important, at least for evaluating Pete/Lake's recruiting was that it's less about getting highly recruited guys and more about getting your top targets. With that previous regime that mattered a lot because when they whiffed on their top targets they pretty consistently settled for the lowest hanging available fruit. I don't think this regime is as likely to do that, as evidenced by the much larger number of offers given out for one thing.

Loved it until it was cool to love to hate

The corollary that I’d add to the principal of landing your top targets was how important it was to stack talent in the rooms

It’s never about Player A or Player B making it or not … it’s about making sure that through competition that the cream rises to the top (as the Macho Man so eloquently taught us all)
