Back then you might hear about a guy or two but that was mostly between Texas schools like Eric Dickerson or SEC schools where the religion goes back decades

As a Husky fan a in state high school kid would get some notice and a small article when they signed and that was about it.

Sports Washington was the pre internet magazine that got the recruiting business going for UW fans

Now its quite the business and still no one knows anything
