I’m a fan. Browning fucked up at UW at times, but his coaching was also questionable and I’m not sure how much help he really got.

I maintain it probably wouldn’t have mattered who played QB at UW at the time. The offense was retarded.

The shit press, or the shit head? The sideline demeanor objectively sucked ballz. We all know the missed field goal gif.

My take is that a lot of dudes have had a one-game zenith. My expectation (not my wish) is that the more time Browning gets, the more his mediocre physical skills will be expressed in game situations that require more. Then again, the SF QB isn't much more talented, if at all; so who knows.

Typically a first time starter comes in and gets 1-3 good starts with people saying “where’d this come from?” Usually by the 4th or so start, NFL defenses figure out the strength and weakness and make everyone say “that’s why the guys a backup!”
