His brother is Braden Bishop who played baseball at UW and is a freak athlete, now in the Mariners system.

I think this is likely as a walk-on, but who knows.
 
Walk on. I read something a few weeks ago about how walk on kids are now wording their tweets with "commitment" and "offer" in hopes of raising their rep and getting chatter on recruiting websites.

If he's a walk-on it's really solid. If not it's not.

You don't usually see walk ons from out of state but it makes sense with his brother at UW and probably slaying lots of Asian chicks.

Also the family is probably well off since they got around the rigid CIF school transfer rules
