Apparently Mora to Interview with Jets

Some are saying he's doing it for leverage over UCLA. It really helps negotiations that our basketball hire is a complete atrocity in year 2 and everyone loves Mora.

Even if it is for leverage, this a terrible signal for the head man to be sending while he's recruiting and allegedly building a program. I kind of think this is legitimate if he's flying to NY.

If the 49ers offer I bet anything he's gone. Jets or Bears offer...who knows. No chance Atlanta offers. And he'd be a fucking moron to go to Oakland.

I don't think he leaves this year Ball, but I do think it's just a matter of time. What more leverage could he possibly get, he has done this 2 years in a row now.

It's a good question. I heard he could have had more $ for himself last year but reallocated the final contract to give more to the asst pool. Klemm and Demetrice Martin get paid a lot just to be position coaches and recruiters. Nobody wants to hire his coordinators right now. So what's the big rush for more $ from Mora especially at the expense of this very damaging PR and recruiting hit? New Facility has had the money raised already and is on deck. Our attendance is way up. Donations are up. Can't imagine even Guerrero would hold back a million or so a year for this kind of risk.

There is starting to be word Guerrero may be retirining soon. So maybe it's more, Mora wants his contract locked all the way down on his terms before the fat man retires. Fat man has no power here so he will either take it up the discipline hole from Mora and smile or go down the biggest villain in UCLA sports history. Either way...fuck

Mora probably told them directly. I think they got the scoop.

He has a very cozy relationship with the TBS sites. If you notice the scout site even has the very detailed story up in front of the paywall. That's kind of telling to me that they want it out there, probably because Mora wants it out there.
 
I really wish Mora would've never said that "dream job" crock a shit about the UW job in 2006. Ever since, most Husky fans obsessively cling onto his every move; shit is beyond annoying. Christ.

During UW's coaching search last year Fetters said Jim Mora was his first choice because he "got it" when it came to internet sites.
