Like its even an option
Charlie don't surf
"We train young men to drop fire on people, but their commanders won't allow them to write "fuck" on their airplanes because it's obscene!"
The message played from the choppers about the stolen surf board... "It was a good board. You know how hard it is to find a board you like." The gross misallocation of military resources made me laugh.
You either surf or you fight.

I forgot this one...major omission
I also like "I don't see any method at all...sir."[/b]

The scene with the choppers looking for the missing board is only in the uncut, redux version which is like 4 hrs long.

I read Heart of Darkness for HS English, as a junior I think, and it didn't click with me at all. It was one of those reads where I had to force it and it was all mechanical...nothing really sticking and I remember pulling off only a shaky B or C on the test. The funny thing was that I had already seen the movie and, even after reading the book and taking the test, didn't realize it was the same story. The teacher didn't tell us until after. Guess they we're both a little over my head at that age.
