Anyone know how good Johnathan Smith was as Montana's OC?

Seeing as how he's our new OC. According to his bio:

"Prior to his move to Boise, Smith spent the 2010 and 2011 seasons as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Montana, leading the Grizzlies to the NCAA Division I semifinals in 2011.

Montana ranked No. 16 in the nation in scoring offense in both of his two seasons there, averaging 31.7 points in 2010 and 33.9 in 2011. In his first year, the Griz also ranked 21st in total offense (420.4) and 28th in passing offense (233.6) and the 2011 squad ranked 17th in rushing offense (210.9).

From 2004 through 2009, Smith was quarterbacks coach at Idaho. In 2009, his last year with the Vandals, he helped Idaho to an average of 451.38 yards per game in total offense, ninth-best in the nation. The Vandals also ranked No. 12 in passing offense (286.7) and 20th in scoring (32.7). Quarterback Nathan Enderle finished the year ranked No. 5 in the NCAA in passing efficiency with a 157.28 mark."

That's all well and good, but anyone know what Montana fans thought of him? I can't find much other specifics on his tenure there.

Smith was good, but Montana has been pretty dominant in the Big Sky the past 20 years. They were rolling along before Smith was there.

I would imagine since Montana didn't win the Natty (I like to say that) that they would shrug their shoulders in regard to Smith as their OC.

Enderle flourished under Smith's tutelage at Idaho though.

Wait, I thought Montana was Big Sky?

Damone!?

Won't Petersen be the brains behind the offense anyways?
WTF is Petersen?

Anyone who coached at Idaho and did something better than shitting their pants on the field must have some idea of how to coach.

28-9, 19-4.

It's hilarious I don't even need to look it up to know where you are going with that.

I'm slow on the Boobs reference but I have an idea. Is he a former UW coach, known for his large, supple breasts?
