Meanwhile, I lost my job in medicine because there was no access to any hospitals or clinics in Portland for almost two years, and during that time, my favorite bar/restaurant and our local food co-op were all shut down in my Slabtown neighborhood and never reopened. Fred Meyer on Burnside was open though. Real local business there.
