yeah, this seems 100% accurate.Being a resident of northern Idaho, I am obviously in favor of whiteouts of all kinds.

I think you're downplaying PSU. Take away the pedo shit and that's still a program I'm really considering being a fan over UW. Part of the reason UW has cracked higher levels the past 10 years could be PSU happened to have Michigan and Ohio State teams in their conference UW wouldn't have gotten past either.PSU always has talent. It never seems to be good enough to win at a top 5 level in college but always enough for 6-15. But those players become high end draft picks.I really don't know how to gauge this game. I'm interested in UW in the Big 10 because it has seemed for a long time that teams built around bigger RBs and stiff QBs have never done much against UW the past 10 years+. It's the west coast style offenses with little pesky backs and QBs that kill them.
Franklin gets a lot of shit, but Penn State puts more than five guys into the draft every year, usually with some elite guys and damn near hit 10 the past couple years. It's hard to think they might not be talented enough to just steam roll UW.
Of course the QBs always suck. That’s their biggest issue.
We could have a whole separate thread about which program you’d rather be: PSU with a ceiling of #5 but a floor of 15, or UW with two final 4 appearances and a legit natty team, but also a floor of 4-8.
I’d rather UW.
Not meaning to downplay PSU; they're technically my #2 college football team since my kid goes there and I end up going to a game per year at least.I think you're downplaying PSU. There's an appeal to the true college program too with them and the 100,000 stadium. I think the city big time college football program is better though and it's sad the sport has evolved to work against that. There's something about big games and the setting in Husky Stadium and The Coliseum that feels different and closer to an NFL environment where a small town even if it's a big program feels more like NASCAR. I'm not talking about Miami now or Pitt or Cal or some shit, playing in an NFL team's stadium, etc.
all I read was that you’re switching sides and are ok with shower rape…I think you're downplaying PSU. Take away the pedo shit and that's still a program I'm really considering being a fan over UW.
