Well, I guess specifically Dead & Company. This was a 4th of July show in Colorado where Dave Matthews played with them.

I think John Mayer shreds on the lead stuff but a lot of the Dead and Company stuff is too slow for my taste and Bob’s vocals are shot.

The Dead are my all time favorite American band. @alumni94 sold the couch just a few years too early for me to see them live. If they'd played the Gorge in '98 I would have been there for sure.

I don't care for the pre 1970 studio albums and live stuff quite as much. But once they moved on from psychedelia to cuntry rock in 1970 I'm all in.

Sorry for dying. I should have stopped the chili corn dogs, and maybe the drugs. Anthem of the Sun is great album, so is Live Dead. Check them out again.

I own Live Dead, Two From the Vault (1968) and Live at Fillmore East 1969. All good stuff with Pigpen doing epic Turn on Your Lovelight.

But I think those sets pale in comparison to what they doing live starting in 1971- 72.
