If Cavs lose the series, will they give LeBron the finals MVP? This has only been done once, in 1969 with Jerry West, the first year they gave out the award I believe.
Curry has been very average at best, he currently has finals averages of 23.5ppg, 6.3apg, 5 turnovers per game, and shooting 41%.
LeBron's has finals averages of: 35.8ppg, 12rpg, 8.3apg, and shooting 38%.
I think if Curry plays just a little better for the remainder of the series, they probably give it to him. I also have a theory:
If LeBron continues to go nuts and Cavs lose in 6, they could give LeBron the MVP in front of Cleveland's crowd. Hard to imagine them giving LeBron finals MVP in GS if it goes to 7 and they lose.
