Nothing to win playing little brother.

For one week we have to act like WSU is our equal.

People calling it a "rivalry" when we win 2/3 of the time.

This year we get to watch a pillow fight between two 4-4 teams over who might get to go to the macaroni and cheese bowl.

And the trophy is stupid.
 
Totally agree with you on this as I do every year and I'll add my traditional complaint about the faux rivalry apple cup game: UW almost always has absolutely nothing to gain from another expected win over the coogs and the Huskies can only be motivated by avoiding the disgrace of a loss. No other game in college football is as lopsided as the apple cup in regard to inducing epileptic seizure in the ranks of the favored.

Absolutely not. Our true rivals are the other members of west coast Big 5, not any of our NW little brothers.

That pillow fight last year turned into the Dawgs biting the pillow. We basically have been the 2 bit whore for Oregon and ASU for a decade. We beat the shit teams and get smoked by the better teams. You already know that personifies mediocrity.

We can return to old dominating ways when we find a coach who understands how to do it. Right now we take one step forward for every 2 steps back. This year is the same as the other 3 prior years and that's only because we ate up on the Idaho State, Cal, and Colorado teams while the elite in the conference played us as their cupcake.

The AAWU came out of the destruction of the old Pacific Coast Conference. It was the 4 Cali schools plus Worshington.

Got the Rose Bowl berth from that league. That's why your ducks could play in the Cotton Bowl in 59
 
My dad played for WSU but was the biggest Husky fan there was.
