Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout will be replaced by Seattle Mariners infielder Ty France on the American League All-Star roster, MLB announced Sunday.

Trout, who was slated to start, has missed the last four games because of back spasms. Twins outfielder Byron Buxton will take his place in the starting lineup in Tuesday's game.

France, 28, makes his first All-Star team after slashing .306/.376/.461 with 10 home runs and 47 RBIs.
