I listened to Vivek yesterday with Dan Abrams on POTUS. He said he would not join Trump as VP.

He has said that a few times, but if he would take it he’d still say he wouldn’t take it at this point right?

That would be the smart move, but being Trump's VP would be a nightmare. Trump will have a tough time filling a cabinet with competents and replacing literally hundreds/thousands of upper executive branch employees at the DOJ, FBI, CIA, State Department and the US military, just as a start.

Yes, and I also think that he emphasized his age quite a bit in the interview and it sounded like he was also hedging on being tied too close to Trump considering he's only 37 and could have a long political future if he pursues it. Running as VP with Trump could end up being a scarlet letter for him.
