I went to Provo that year, talked a lot of shit. Thought we? were a NATTY lock. Talked even more shit to some Cornhusker fans on the Ave friday before the game, reminding them of '91 and '92. NOT CLASSY. The Oregon and WSU games in '97 are some of my worst Husky Stadium memories. OJ Jenkins and the Gilby NEVADA game too.
I went to Provo that year, talked a lot of shit. Thought we? were a NATTY lock. Talked even more shit to some Cornhusker fans on the Ave friday before the game, reminding them of '91 and '92. I was at all those games. Awful season. I spent the 2H of every home game at the wingdome crushing pitchers watching that awful season play out. Nebraska was a joke. I have to say I thought we were overrated that year and that the ‘96 Team was better at least on the lines and skill positions. In all cases Lambo sucked and those teams were mentally weak.
I wish we could all time travel back to that game so I could kick all you quooks in the weird looking corkscrew dicks.
I remember it pretty well. UW went up late on a Tui to Hooker TD. Oregon came down and threw a bomb on Mel Miller. CB was a real weakness on almost all the Lambo teams.
Lambo spent the first half making Tui a pocket passer. He let him be Tui the second half which is how we? got the lead
A ruthless coach would have started Tui in 98 after the blowout at Nebraska.
