If you have 80 guys 3.0 or higher the cumulative should be greater than 3.13.

#AcademisFail

Can you show your work on that?

Assuming a normal distribution of 96 players and with 80 at 3.0 or above and with a mean of 3.13, the distribution would be:

Also, pinging @TheChart

Oh God, Oh God, Oh God!

Would have been better is the the "area (probability)" was .81

How many of these majors are PE, basket weaving, sports mgmt., sociology, turf management, realty etc.

Hi, unless your undergrad degree is technical (engineering, premed, math, science, etc) it's pretty much bullshit either way

Art fucks up and the president gets fired

That's what a serious football school does.

Had we? fired Gerberding instead of James......

Hypocrisy rules:

Briles and Starr, who was the special prosecutor investigating President Bill Clinton's sexual relationship with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, have faced sharp criticism about whether the school ignored allegations of assault by football players. Two players were later convicted of sexual assault, the Associated Press reported.

How so?

3.0 + 3.0 + 3.1 + 3.4 = ~3.125

This was already addressed earlier in the thread. Yes it is POSSIBLE. It's just highly unlikely to have that many above 3.0 but so few above 3.2. It sounds like they're* grades are being fixed at B's. Which I'm good with, I just wouldn't bring attention to it.

I think this is in its perfect form, to be honest. Real enough to brag about it to recruits' parents, not actually real enough to hinder football.
