Just saw the movie about Stephen Hawking and how he had a hot GF in college and then he got ALS and tried to dump her but she stuck with him and they got married and had 3 kids. I have no idea how a guy with ALS fucks, I think I stopped watching before that part because it was kinda boring. So in conclusion, don't get ALS.
