Hating KDB makes sense. Left Washington and left them cold and dirty. We can argue about whose fault that was, but he did it. So, hate away.

With all the talent Alabama has he lost to an unranked Vanderbilt team as a 21 point favorite, lost to a decent Tennessee team and got smoked by an unranked Oklahoma team. Blame it on the QB?

I’m all in on “that was embarrassing.” I laffed right along. But that’s not like having a WR with the yips or a running back with the drops. If you don’t have a QB, you will lose games no matter what else you have.

I could also argue without Milroe’s legs they don’t beat Georgia or LSU. He was a killer those two games.

agree. but when you have a QB who you don’t trust to throw, you are limited and it catches eventually.
honestly though, I have no explanation for Vandy. I should be able QB Bama to a win over them. The difference in recruiting between those two schools is stunning.
I’d agree against Tennessee, maybe, but Vandy and Oklahoma? He didn’t have his highly talented team prepared.

Not to quibble but Oklahoma was the last loss. Bama is in with 2 losses
Neither him nor Fisch got to take advantage of the first portal window. I'm told that is a good excuse.
Oklahoma was shite this year. They only managed two conference wins, one of them a blowout win over Deboer.

That would depend on whether or not it was a home game. At home, the Huskies would have plungered this year's Oklahoma team. On the road? They went full retard in every road game. I'm 81% sure they lose badly at Oklahoma. Fisch has a lot to prove, he's done a shit job getting this team prepared for road games. And he may be losing his DC, depending on what happens at UNC. I'm not too high on the future, he feels like another one in a string of "interim" coaches this program has suffered through over the past 30+ years. I hope I'm wrong.
In fairness, DeBoer did a great job at UW, but he was only here two years … along with a once in a generation QB who portaled in and "lifetime" assistants who appear to have been key cogs in the machine. He lost those things after doing UW dirty in his insta-exit to Bama. This was only his first year at Bama, time will tell if he's able to consistently compete at this level, but he was given a roster full of some of the nations top recruits and managed to lose three conference games, one as a 21 point favorite and another to a team that managed only 2 conference wins, one being the blowout win over his team. That's a bumpy transition at best, shit coaching at worst. His ceiling has to be higher or he's a goner. Another season like this and they'll run him out of Tuscaloosa.
To your point ND got it in with a Vandy type loss.
