Had to wait an entire 6 weeks or so for one. Indian Wells final today. For non-tennis people this tournament is the Players Championship equivalent in tennis.

The men’s final of Medvedev vs Alcaraz is really good too. Great sports day for hopefully the last cold day of the season.
 
This is an Offishul BUMP for the French Open.

Swiatek and Sabalenka are battling for the #1 ranking, while Rybakina could win and set herself up to take over #1 soon.

No Nadal is a bummer but Alcaraz is legit. Him vs Djokovic and Medvedev will be good.

Novak vs. Alcaraz on Friday is going to be a hell of a match.

The women are on track for Swiatek vs Sabalenka in the final which will also be great.
 
Alcaraz-Djokovic was a massive let down. Novak gonna get another chip today.

The women’s matches, especially the Sabalenka semifinal, were really good. Iga Swiatek is already an all timer and just turned 22.
 
Wimbledon quarterfinals start tomorrow. I don't think anyone is beating Novak on the men's side. Maybe Alcaraz can fare better that in the French but Novak would really have to Cuog it to not win.

The ladies bracket though is great with great R16 matches for the most part. Top 4 seeds through to the quarters, plus the #6 seed, which created a 2022 Wimbledon finals rematch in the quarters. All the major winners from the past 5 (the post-Barty era) plus 3 of the 5 runner-ups are still alive.
 
Well I am going to keep this thread going through the US Open even though no one cares. When football dies a CTE death you’ll need some sport to fill your miserable and pathetic lives.

Wimbledon semis today are damn good. The Tug’s GOAT Serbian Djokovic trying to cement his GOAT tennis status vs the youngins. I like NOVAK until he doesn’t win everything anymore.
 
Absolutely riveting and compelling championship match for the Cincy Masters 1000 between Novak and Carlos. What a battle.

Bring on these two at the US Open.
 
US Open time! Novak vs Carlos needs to happen again.

Coco Gauff is on fire this summer and the balls are changing for the women (teehee) which help her game. It might her break through time.
 
That’s a great read. Always fun to get a look inside their mentality which is so hard to relate to.

Roddick has become a great commentator and it’s unfortunate he didn’t start that sooner.
 
For those who only care when Americans do well: tonight is American vs American for the right to face Novak in the semis.

Ben Shelton is the biggest server in the tournament.
