Demond may be great next year but we'll be in a bunch more Sunbowl type games if the lines stay the way they are so I'll temper my excitement
I get it but the lines were abysmal this year and I do think if we had a playmaker the level Demond will be we test 8+ wins and that’s a higher level then the Sun Bowl. Not exhilarating but I also think the lines should be at least a bit better this year too.

If Demond is amazing and they win the conference or whatever a good season is now then great but we can already see that Demond being great with what Fisch has shown us will just mean like 8 wins and be a waste of a good QB year

UW isn’t poor. UW is apathetic.
that's not what I'm hearing Debbie.
If UW was apathetic they wouldn't have killed the Apple TV deal and dragged Oregon into the B1G
That was a decision that was made for them. Even the dumbass Cuog would have left the Pac-12 if presented the same opportunity.
It's what you do afterward that counts. My eyes and ears tell me UW has other priorities.

UW isn’t poor. UW is apathetic.
I think it shows that they're neither poor nor apathetic. They are content to be the Mariners and win 54% on average, while occasionally reaching fringe contender status when everything lines up.
It's a profitable and popular model, keeps things tidy, and tempers fan expectations. There's no sense changing it.

The Mariners being in the same sentence as UW is a fucking insult.
They've never even been in the same realm as a 2016 type UW even.
At least UW's "leadership retreats" at Alderbrook actually fucking get us something once in awhile. Mariners need to go to OKC almost as badly as the seahawks do.

Yes, it was an insult. Thanks for noticing.

Fuck off with the Mariners reference. When was the last time they contended for anything? ‘95 and 01 were special, a brush with playoffs in ‘22. Never a threat to play in a WS.

This was a popular take years and years ago during the dark days of Husky Football. Everybody was pissed off and scared that we? were becoming the M's.

But there's simply no comparison between the two. At all.

I suppose comparing UW and the Mariners is a bit unfair. Mariners turn a profit every year.

UW restricts what the football program can do monetarily to compete at the highest level.
Ms ownership restricts what the front office can do monetarily to compete at the highest level.
I didn't say they were exactly alike. I guess this comparison is a little too nuanced for some.

Comparing a team that was just in the fucking title game, out of 100+ teams, to the fucking Mariners, who have never been to a title game in a field of 30...

The same 3 posters keep repeating the same stupid shit over and over again
This isn't 2008 dumb fucks
