Alice in Chains "Rooster" (MTV Unplugged)

AIC is in my all time top 5...just getting that out of the way.

But...I don't listen to their unplugged stuff much. I out it just above Sap, or second to last place, in my rating of their albums/EPs. The songs are all solid, even where Staley fucks up Sludge Factory, but they don't really do anything exceptional or branch out in any way. Staley looks and sounds like he'll be lucky to walk out on his own power (still powerful vocals though in a disturbing way). It's just a bunch of scaled down, quieter renditions that aren't as great as the studio versions.

Just my opinion. If this was all the AIC that was available I'd love it.
 
Also...our token gay, black, styxx fan, TBS moderator called AIC a joke, which invalidates the op and thread.
 
There was a poster who went by Layne Stayley at doogman and when he would get into it with Fetters Chris would always slam him for his user name

I know from second hand knowledge he was so high on heroin they had to wake him up right before taking the stage which is why he walked on late. Still performed like a champ.

When Cantrell keeps smiling I think its because he was pleasantly surprised Layne was pulling it off.
