The smart thing to do would've been to ask about flights/options first instead of buying first and then complaining later.

The smart thing to do would've been not to assume I bought anything since I don't live in Seattle and was just trying to make a point.

Your point is dumb because you don't have to fly into LAX. You can get there with Alaska for half the price of what you listed.

On my annual sojourns to Palm Desert to visit the folks, we always fly into Ontario. Quaint little airport, rental car system is a little confusing, but overall a good choice

I like to try to make a point about dynamically priced products with billions of pricing permutations with a single data point. It's what I like to do.
